PORK CHOP CREOLE
4 to 6 pork chops, 1/2 –inch thick 1 large onion, chopped 1 small green pepper, chopped 2 tbsp. chili sauce 1/2 tsp. sugar 1 1/2 cup tomatoes or tomato purée Salt and pepper to taste
Preheat skillet over medium heat. Sear pork chops on both sides.
Mix remaining ingredients, except salt and pepper, and pour over pork chops; cover.
Turn heat to low once vapor seal is reached. Continue cooking until chops are tender, 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Season before serving.
