STUFFED PORK CHOPS
4 pork chops, cut at least 1-inch thick, with pocket for stuffing
1/2 cup dried bread crumbs
1/4 apple, chopped (optional)
1 small onion, chopped 1 stalk celery, chopped
1/4 green pepper, chopped (optional)
2 tbsp. water Dash sage Salt and pepper
Stuff pocket of chops with combined mixture of bread crumbs, apple, onion, celery, green pepper and water.
Preheat skillet over medium heat. Sear chops on both sides; cover.
Turn heat to low once vapor seal is reached. Continue to cook for 1 to 1 1/2 hours or until chops are tender. Season to taste.
