4 to 6 lb. cooked or uncooked ham Whole cloves
1/2 cup (4oz.) canned crushed pineapple, drained or 1/2 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup juice from pineapple, citrus juice, or ginger ale
Score ham and place in preheated Dutch oven. Brown on all sides over medium heat.
Stud with cloves, cover with pineapple or brown sugar. Pour juice into pan; cover.
Turn heat to low once vapor seal is reached. Continue to cook 15 minutes per lb. for cooked hams or 30 minutes per lb. for uncooked hams.
